Oceanside Harbor, So Jetty – Dec 16, 2023

It has been a long 2 month wait for San Diego Middle Schools to have their second event of the season and it was well worth the wait.  The morning was pretty brisk with the offshore winds blowing down the San Luis Rey River and everyone was bundled up and by 10 o’clock summer weather and temps arrived for the remainder of the day.  Some pretty epic 2-3 foot waves were just reeling from the combo northwest and southwest swell.  The surfing was high and Elizabeth Carroll from Valley was on fire in the Girls Shortboard scoring a perfect 10 and two 9.5’s.  She then went on to win her second Double Double award winning both the GSB and GLB divisions.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season.  See you in 2024!
