.
What an incredible weekend of surf for our first event of the season for our San Diego High School Coastal Surf teams. A little different than our Saturday Middle School event, but the waves were still firing with some 5-7 foot waves. A little wonky and a little south wind but nothing that kept the level of surfing from being at a very high level. Carlsbad took the win in 3 divisions, MSB, WSB and WLB. San Dieguito captured the win in MLB and BB. Reid Van Wagoner, Carlsbad, claimed the first Double Double award with double wins in WSB and WLB.
Looking forward to another great season and our next event at Ponto on November 5. See you all then.
