What a difference a day makes. Our San Diego Middle School Division 2 Surf Teams scored a really fun day at Avalanche. Not only was the surf 2-3 feet bigger than Saturday, but the weather had everyone peeling off their layer of warm clothes all the way down to shirt sleeves. The BBQ’s were firing up and the beach was crowded with lots of teams and their families enjoying a fun day. The sizeable surf shook up some team results with a lot of close ones in the team scores. After a recount on team scores, we ended up with a tie for the overall team points win with Oceanside North and Pacific Beach each scoring 169 Total Team points. The revised team scores are below.

Exit Sea World Drive and veer to the right
Stay in left lanes and veer to the left on Sunset Cliffs Blvd
You will cross over the river
Turn right on Point Loma Blvd (signal)
Turn right on Voltaire (small street about 1/2 mile down)
You will now be in the parking lot
SSS site is at the very south end of the parking lot
COMING FROM THE SOUTH
I-5 North
Exit I-8 West (beaches)
I-8 becomes Sunset Cliffs Blvd.
Merge to the left onto Sunset Cliffs Blvd
Turn Right on Point Loma Blvd (signal)
Turn right on Voltaire (small street about 1/2 mile down)
You will now be in the parking lot
