Event # 2 for the San Diego Middle School Division 1 Teams was held at Avalanche on Saturday. The early morning started off with offshore cold breezes that made the small waves look fun and ridable. The waves were small with 2 to 3-foot fun peaks that got better with the incoming tide. The surfers made excellent scores out of the conditions with Oak Crest scoring wins in Boys Shortboard, Boys Longboard and Coed Bodyboard; Aviara Oaks who took 2 titles – Girls Shortboard and Girls Longboard. In the Overall Team it was Oak Crest dominating with 226 Team Points.

COMING FROM THE SOUTH
I-5 North
Exit I-8 West (beaches)
I-8 becomes Sunset Cliffs Blvd.
Merge to the left onto Sunset Cliffs Blvd
Turn Right on Point Loma Blvd (signal)
Turn right on Voltaire (small street about 1/2 mile down)
