San Diego Middle School Division 2 opened up the season at Avalanche. It was definitely a Fall morning with a chill in the air and some bumpy conditions from a little hurricane swell. Surf was in the 3 to 5 foot range and plenty of corners for the kids to perform on. You could definitely see all the hard work they have been putting into their surfing as the level of surfing was on the rise and everyone ripping. We would also like to welcome our new team Classical Academy to our SSS teams in Div 2. We also had the pleasure of introducing our new sponsor SharpEye Surfboards to the SSS season. Enrique and Travis along with Marcio were there and brought plenty of boards for our SSS kids to demo and surf on. SharpEye Surfboards will be at our various events thru the season so please make sure you visit them and support our sponsors. We also had plenty of Surface Sun Screen available for everyone to use. SSS site is at the very south end of the parking lot

I-5 North
Exit I-8 West (beaches)
I-8 becomes Sunset Cliffs Blvd.
Merge to the left onto Sunset Cliffs Blvd
Turn Right on Point Loma Blvd (signal)
