Event # 3 for the San Diego Middle School Division 1 Teams at La Jolla Shores was greeted with a new WNW swell on Saturday.  Consistent 6 foot plus waves throughout the day with some bigger close out sets rolling thru to Scripps Pier made for some perfect rights and lefts.  The teams were ripping and putting on quite a show in the challenging conditions.  Oak Crest took the honors in the Overall Team Points as well as taking the win in every division except for the Girls Longboard and those honors went to Aviara Oaks.  Wheeler Hasburgh from Oak Crest was the leader throughout the event earning a perfect score of 30 (10’s across the board) from the judging panel.
