Well Oceanside delivered some pretty fun waves for our 2nd event of the Season.  After a big swell on our first event, it was a welcomed change to have some fun 2 to 3 foot waves.  The threat of rain vanished and we were all treated to a beautiful Southern California Autumn beach day.  Luke Butterfield from Oak Crest took the win in the Boys Shortboard in a split decision with Alex Cockrell from Muirlands.  Luke now has back to back wins in Boys Shortboard.  Valley Middle School had 7 surfers in the finals with Jack VanWagoner taking 1st  and Kevin Kraatz 2nd in the Boys Longboard,  Ava Censopoano 1st in the Girls Longboard and Tommy Kelly scoring the win in Bodyboard.  Tommy now has back to back wins in the Bodyboard Division.  Oak Crest had 9 surfers in the finals with Syd Ott claiming the win in Girls Shortboard.  Thank you to all our sponsors and parents for supporting our SSS kids in their sport of surfing.

Directions:
From the 5 Fwy exit Oceanside Harbor Drive
follow the loop West.
Go left towards South Harbor Jetty
The contest will be on the beach at Parking Lot 10.

Parking is $8 per day or free parking in the back lot under train bridge
