What a day for our San Diego Middle School Division 2 surfers and teams. We had a taste of every weather element at this event. Putting on some awesome performances were the Oceanside Team who once again took the win in the overall Team with a total of 173 points followed by the Oak Crest ‘B’ Team with 149.5 points. In the Boys Shortboard it was Sage Stern from Sanderling Waldorf who took the win followed by the ratings leader Ryan Risko from Oceanside who took 2nd. In the Boys Longboard it was Sebastian Sanders from Valley who took home the win. The Oceanside girls team once again were the star performers with Skylie Knowles holding down her first-place rating in Girls Shortboard with a 1st place win while teammate Star D’Elia continued on her winning streak in the Girls Longboard division. Tyler Robles from Oak Crest ‘B’ took the win in the Coed Bodyboard. It has been a horrendous Winter. A big thank you to all the teams, parents and coaches that have hung in there with us. Parking: There is free parking along Coast Hwy. There is a lot for public parking $10 – $15 per vehicle all day at the very south end of the beach.
