It was a clean and sunny morning with a new swell moving into the Ventura County region. There were some 6 to 7 foot sets rifling in every 10 minutes or so and the kids were rushing out to pack some closeout barrels before their heats started. Even with the walled up conditions there were a couple of decent corners. It stayed clean for most of the day and right before the finals a little northwest breeze picked up. It definitely didn’t stop the competitors from ripping. Travis Quittner had the highest heat total of the day in Men’s Longboard with an 18 point average. Thank you all for making this a successful event. It has been a great season so far and we are looking forward to two more events for this division!
