Stolen board #3. Turns out yesterdays’ disaster was a Trifecta. Two boards were in bags and one in a sock so the kook who took them didn’t even know what he had in his filthy hands. But he guessed just right. Fucking asshole. This one is the last hand-shaped board Donald made for me years ago when I was still competing on his team and it’s by far my favorite from the early DT era. 10-2 noserider that I outgrew and started using to teach all my family and friends how to surf. It has a very distinctive amoeba-shape white patch on the deck and several white patches on the rails where I had it repaired but not color matched because I couldn’t afford it. This board has perfect rocker and I mean P-E-R-F-E-C-T. That’s the hardest element to get right for any shaper, especially freehand, and Donald nailed it. This board is the Holy Grail.
