High School State Championships

South Jetty Oceanside Harbor
The Scholastic Surf Series will finish up the High School Division year with the State Championships at Oceanside South Jetty. There are schools competing from up and
down the California coastline with teams coming from as far away as Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz. The best of the best high schools in California will come together for this 3 day event. The Championships is divided into Section A Teams (Coastal) and Section B Teams (Inland). Coastal teams will compete on Saturday and Inland teams will compete
on Sunday and Monday will feature a combination of all schools in an individual format. At the end of the weekend State Championships Titles will be awarded in 6 categories:
Mens Shortboard, Mens Longboard, Womens Shortboard, Womens Longboard, Coed Bodyboard and Overall Team. Waves and weather promise to be good and we will see
some outstanding performances from the best high school surfers in California. The San Dieguito Mens Shortboard Team will be defending their State Title from last year.
