After some of the most rain Ventura and Santa Barbara has had in years and the river mouths blew out, the sandbar was amazing. We were lucky to have an awesome sand bar for the 3rd event of the season at Carpinteria State Park for High School division LA-SB. There was a whole forest of logs and sticks scattered on the beach, but it didn’t matter because the waves were pumping. It was sheet glass and about 4-6 feet all day. All schools were ripping, but it was Ventura A again with 58 total team points the highest of the day. Thanks to the parents and coaches, we look forward to seeing you at the next event.
