The SSS high school division LA to Santa Barbara had a great opening event at Emma Wood in Ventura. There was a little west breeze early in the morning that backed off around 7:30 and was glassy for the rest of the day. Waves were in the 2 to 3 foot range with a slack tide all day and a southwest combo swell that made for fun peaky waves all day. All the teams were ripping, but it was Ventura B team with the highest team point total with 57 points. Thanks to all the parents, coaches, and kids for coming out. We are looking forward to another awesome season.
