Wow what a weekend and Sunday was just a little different once again for the SD Middle School Div 2 Surf teams.  The day started slow with some bumpy 2 to 4 foot sets.  But by mid day with the incoming tide, the swell picked up once again and sent some big 6 foot plus sets our way.  The competitors were up to the challenge and charged the conditions with amazing performances to keep the scores maxed out. Oceanside had 3 boys in the Boys Shortboard final but it was Kale Cadam from Pacific Beach that took the win with his team mate Niko Lounais taking 2nd.  Will Mitchell from Oceanside helped his team by surfing in the Boys Longboard division and securing a win in that division.  Noelle Walker from Santa Fe Christian once again took double wins for the second event in a row in both Girls Shortboard and Girls Longboard. Isaiah Dasher is on fire with his 3rd victory and the point leader in the Bodyboard division.  The next event for SDMS Div 2 will be January 29, 2017 at Oceanside Pier.  Happy Thanksgiving and we will see you after the Christmas and New Year Holiday Season.

Directions:

Freeway southbound exit Genesee Ave. Keep right at fork merge on Genesee Ave. Turn left on N. Torrey Pines Rd. Turn Right onto La Jolla Shores Dr. Turn right on Calle Frescota. This will take you to the parking lot.
