LA/Santa Barbara High School Results – Zuma

The Scholastic Surf Series a division of the Western Surfing Assoc. (WSA) completed event #5 of the Los Angeles-Santa Barbara High School Division surf season at Zuma Beach. The surf wasn’t great but it was contestable all weekend with 2-3′ waves and happy competitors paddling for every wave.
The day went without a hitch. One of the biggest surprises of the event came in the Bodyboard final. Tom Caen had won every event he has entered in his high school career but was surprised by Tom Klaen. These two have battled it out for 3 srtaight years.
Thank you to all our sponsors for your support as the kids get a chance to learn to compete in a great organization.
