Event # 3 for our San Diego Middle School Surf Teams got off to another great start. With a last-minute venue change to Oceanside, the middle school teams found some clean perfect waves in the 2-3 foot range. Cold offshore wind was strong enough to make a difference in those above the lip maneuvers, but some high scores were still found. It was close between Aviara Oaks, Oak Crest and Valley up until the finals when Oak Crest pulled away and ended with a 12 point lead. Reid Van Wagoner won her second Double Double Award for the season by taking the win in both Girls Shortboard and Girls Longboard. Congratulations to all the teams and finalists. Looking forward to another fun filled event when we start up in January. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone. Enjoy your family time. See you next Year.
