Oceanside Harbor, So Jetty – Mar 5, 2023

Another fun day of surf for our 5th and final event of the SSS Series.  Some 2-3 foot surf with a bit of a high tide but with Season Titles on the line everyone was ripping.  In Division 1 it was Carlsbad and San Dieguito tied going into the match.  It was exciting to see the scores going back and forth for the division wins with margins so close.  San Dieguito prevailed in a very close match in MSB, while the WSB dominated and BB was close.  But it was Carlsbad that dominated in the MLB and WLB to take the Overall Team Win by a slim margin of 3 points.  In Division 2 the same was going on between Coronado and San Dieguito “B”.  San Dieguito dominated the MSB and took the BB by one point but Coronado pulled ahead taking the win in WSB, MLB and WLB and winning the Overall Team for Div 2 by 4 points.  It was an exciting day.  High School State Champs is March 25, 26 & 27 at Oceanside South Jetty.  Make sure you get your entries in before the deadline, March 8.  Thanks to all the coaches, parents and teams for another great season.  See you at States.

Directions:
From the 5 Fwy exit Oceanside Harbor Drive
follow the loop West.
Go left towards South Harbor Jetty.  Follow the street until it dead ends at Parking Lot 10.
The contest will be on the beach.

Parking is $10 per day or free parking in the back lot under train bridge.
