Summer’s Beach, Ventura – Dec 18, 2016

It was a chilly, but sunny day for the LA-SB High School Division 2 surf teams. The waves were small, but when the sets came through the surfers were stoked. Aaron Terrasas (Arroyo Grande) took the win for the Men’s Shortboard. John Simon (Ventura) won the Men’s Longboard division for the second contest in a row. Riley Cabanero (Arroyo Grande) was in form all day and ended up winning the Girls Shortboard division. It was a stacked Girls Longboard final, but in the end it was Annalie Ilagan (Ventura) who took the win. Tearing up the shore break in the Bodyboard final and taking first place was Tommy Hurley (Ventura).
