Ventura County Fairgrounds – Dec 3, 2016

It was a cold offshore morning in Ventura for the LA to Santa Barbara surfers. With clean offshore conditions lasting all morning, it was in the 3 to 4 foot range and picked up to 5 to 6 feet by the afternoon. All teams were fired up on the pumping conditions especially Cabrillo taking 1st in the overall team points with 223 points and Malibu getting 2nd with 153 team points. Everyone was ripping in the Boys Shortboard final especially the Vodraska brothers (Malibu), in the end it was Tanner taking the win with Talan Vodraska in a close second. Ben Pace (Balboa) displayed his amazing longboard skills and found himself in 1st place in the Boys Longboard. Absolutely ripping all day and taking first in the Girls Short Board was Noah Klapp (Muse). Brooke Carlson (Malibu) was showing off her point break skills all day and ended up winning the Girls Longbaord. And taking first in the Body Board was Marley Sapp (Cabrillo) . Huge thanks to all of the parents and Coaches for all their help this weekend and thank you to all of our sponsors who make the SSS season possible.
