The SSS LA-SB Middle School division started off the season at Zuma Beach. It was great seeing the new middle school competitors and those continuing with us. Everyone came out with lots of enthusiasm and it was a wonderful start to the season. The weather was absolutely perfect, hot and sunny with very glassy conditions. The waves were in the 2-3ft range and stayed pretty consistent throughout the enitre day. All of the competitors were putting on a great show, especially Austin Gasser who got first place in mens longboard and second place in mens shortboard.
