It was a nice cloudy day with perfect conditions for the LA to Santa Barbara section. It was about 2 to 3 feet with a little off shore breeze that lasted all day. All the schools were ripping and fired up for the 2nd event of the season, but it was Santa Barbara Jr who won the overall Team with 179 points. Tanner Vodraska (Malibu) finding some awesome corners and tearing them apart found himself in 1st place in the Boys Shortboard final. Taking the win in the Boys Longboard final with some great foot work was Ram Pierce (Cabrillo). The girls were ripping all day, but it was Jade Blair (Santa Barbara Jr) who took the win in both the Girls Shortboard and Girls Longboard finals. Last, but not least was Finn Reyes winning the Coed Body boarding. Huge thanks to all of the parents and coaches for their help this weekend, and thank you to all of our sponsors who make the SSS season possible.
