The season opener for our San Diego High School Div 5 surfers started in less than perfect conditions. But we were surprised to find some 2 to 3 foot waves with some cold offshore/side shore winds to start off the morning.
The morning surf was fun with some corners for our surfers in the north area but we had to wait for the tide to drop for our south area surfers to find some good waves that appeared during the last hour of our event.
Our next event will be on November 24 at San Fernando Place, so see you then.

I-5 South to San Diego
Exit Sea World Drive and veer to the right
Stay in left lanes and veer to the left on Sunset Cliffs Blvd
You will cross over the river
Turn right on Point Loma Blvd (signal)
Turn right on Voltaire (small street about 1/2 mile down)
You will now be in the parking lot
SSS site is at the very south end of the parking lot
COMING FROM THE SOUTH
I-5 North
Exit I-8 West (beaches)
I-8 becomes Sunset Cliffs Blvd.
Merge to the left onto Sunset Cliffs Blvd
Turn Right on Point Loma Blvd (signal)
Turn right on Voltaire (small street about 1/2 mile down)
You will now be in the parking lot
SSS site is at the very south end of the parking lot
