It was another great event for our Orange County Middle School Surf Teams at South Jetty on Saturday.  That typical cold offshore morning quickly turned into a nice warm and sunny day.  Waves were really fun after a flat spell all week long.  Some 2-3 foot offshore then glassy peaks made for some great wave scores throughout the event.  This event marked the 5th and final event of the season with Shorecliffs locking up the number one Overall Team spot in both Division 1 and Division 2.  Unofficially it looks like Westley Young from Bernice Ayer will be our BSB Overall winner, Luke Stark from Marco Forster our BLB Overall winner, Gwen Lyon from Vista Del Mar our GLB Overall winner and Merrick Motika from Marco Forster will be our Overall Coed Bodyboard winner.  The Girls Shortboard ratings are too close to call at this time as well as the Middle School Div 2 ratings.  Complete overall ratings will be out this week.  Congratulations to all the Teams for an awesome season.  Looking forward to seeing you all at State Championships.

Directions:
From the 5 Fwy exit Oceanside Harbor Drive
follow the loop West.
Go left towards South Harbor Jetty.  Follow the street until it dead ends at Parking Lot 10.
The contest will be on the beach.

Parking is $10 per day or free parking in the back lot under train bridge.
