This was a weekend of excessive high tides and little swell for this SSS event at San Clemente Pier. But after a slow start and a little patience we were able to start the event within a half hour of the original start time.  The delay didn’t hold back the talent that is very evident in the Orange County Middle School Section. In the finals, teams shared the podium in the winner’s circle:  Hudson Saunders from Thurston took the Boys Shortboard win and Tosh Johnson from Marco Forester took the win in Boys Longboard along with team mate Rilynn Baker in Girls Longboard. Shorecliffs took wins in Girls Shortboard with Ezra McPhillips and Rex Hennings capturing the win in the Bodyboard Division.  In Division 2, Shorecliffs took wins in Boys Shortboard with Eryk Brandt and Hana Baker in Girls Shortboard.  Lincoln Cole from Newhart took Boys Longboard and London Heunemann from Marco Forster secured the win in Girls Longboard.  Congratulations to all the teams that competed this weekend.

take that all the way to the Pier.
