The SSS high school division Ventura to Morro Bay had an awesome event at Tarpits. With heavy winds forecasted for the Super Bowl Sunday it was surprisingly calm. The wind was blowing hard in the outer waters, but made for some fun wind swell with waves in the 3 to 4 foot range. It stayed glassy for most of the day and our northern competitors were all ripping. Dos Pueblos and Ventura-1 were ripping getting a high team total of 85 points.
