February 24th Ventura Fair Grounds

It was a sunny cold Saturday with a fun little 2 to 3 foot south swell at Ventura Fair Grounds. There was a hard offshore wind in the morning that lasted till the afternoon and a light onshore breeze before the finals. With the light onshore in the afternoon it made the 3-foot waves that were reeling down the point even more ripable. Cabrillo was fired up and for the 2nd event in a row they took 1st place in the overall team points with 210. Tearing up these small point break waves was Tanner Vodraska (Malibu Black) and for the 3rd event in a row he took the Boys Shortboard Final. Taking the win in the Boys Longboard Final with great footwork was Finn Reyes (Malibu Black). The girls were ripping all day, but in the end it was Delaney Poulos (Cabrillo) who took the win in both the Girls Shortboard and the Girls Longboard Finals. Last, but certainly not least taking first in the Bodyboard division was Gavin Cross (Malibu White). A huge thanks to all of the parents and coaches for their help today and thank you to all of our sponsors who make the SSS season possible.

From Highway 101 exit on California St.
Turn left at California St.
Turn right at Harbor Blvd.
Take the second left onto Figueroa St.
Continue onto Shoreline Drive
