It has been a long 2 month wait for San Diego Middle Schools to have their second event of the season and it was well worth the wait.  The morning was cold with the offshore winds blowing down the San Luis Rey River and everyone was bundled up.  But by 10 o’clock summer weather and temps arrived for the remainder of the day.  Some pretty fun 2-3 foot waves were just reeling from the combo northwest and southwest swell.  Exciting event between Oak Crest B and Oceanside North.  Trading the lead all day long up until the finals when Oak Crest pulled ahead and took the team win.  Hope everyone has a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season.  See you for the 2024 New Year.

Directions:
From the 5 Fwy exit Oceanside Harbor Drive
follow the loop West.
Go left towards South Harbor Jetty.  Follow the street until it dead ends at Parking Lot 10.
The contest will be on the beach.

Parking is $10 per day or free parking in the back lot under train bridge.
