With snow on the mountains and a freezing east breeze the SSS LA-SB Middle School section had a great day at Ventura Fairgrounds. The waves were in the 2-3 foot range with a little northwest/southwest combo. The wind blew from the south in the afternoon, but glassed off with perfect timing for the finals. Cabrillo was showing their local knowledge and ended up taking the win with the overall team total of 261.5 points. Congratulations to Malia Ilagan from Cabrillo for winning the girls shortboard and girls longboard. Double champion!
