What a season opener it was at San Fernando.  We started the season with the best of the best in surf and weather:  Cool Fall mornings and remnants of Summer days and no wind.  Our teams arrived to some 2-3 with 4 foot set barrels to start the morning.  Titus Santucci and Wheeler Hasburgh from Oak Crest demonstrated their barrel riding techniques that brought cheers from the beach. Congrats to all the teams, competitors, coaches and parents who came and spent the day with us.  Thank you to Sharp Eye Surfboards that came to the event fully stocked with demo boards.  Check them out and the amazing deals they are offering our SSS kids, coaches and parents.  Thanks to Sticky Bumps for supplying the wax and Surface Sun Systems for the sunscreen.

Directions to San Fernando Place:
From the 5 Fwy southbound exit Seaworld Drive turn right. Go about 2 miles and exit onto Ingrahm/W. Mission Bay Drive.
Stay in the right hand lane and take the loop to continue on W. Mission Bay Drive until it ends at Mission Blvd. turn Left. The Parking Lot is on the Right hand side just past the Roller Coaster and the Wave House.

We’ll be set up at the South end of the parking lot on the beach..
