The Scholastic Surf Series, a division of the Westen Surfing Assoc. (WSA), completed event #5–the final team vs team series of Scholastic SD High Schools–on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Oceanside’s South Jetty. Twelve San Diego Div 1 & 2 High School’s competed in 5-to-6-foot surf with good conditions. All Scholastic Surf Series competitors were treated to great prizes from The Wave House, SUPERbrand Surfboards, Ransom Wax, Body Glove Wetsuits, as well as complimentary subscriptions to TransworldSurf Magazine.
