It was a great start to the new season for SDMS Division 2 surfers. Some new faces learning about competition with those returning surfers leading the charge. Some super fun surf and conditions with a little northwest swell pulse delivering some 2-4 foot waves with very little wind. It was a thriller performance from the Oceanside team with many new faces mixed in with some seasoned surfers. Congrats to the winners in each division: Ramon Carrillo, Oceanside, BSB, Kieran Murphy, Oceanside, BLB, Dylan Sharp, Oceanside, GSB, Myla Christenssen, Oak Crest, GLB and Sawyer Griffis, Muirlands, Bodyboard. Congrats to all the teams, finalists and competitors for an awesome event. It’s going to be a great season.
